So this weekend is the $1000 "Recession Special." There is 2 days ones, Sammy played yesterday, Jimmie and I play today. I'll text updates throughout the day.
Sammy's big hand:
Raise button to 600 (100-200 blinds) with 6d4d
Big blind calls.
Flop 3d 3c 7d
He checks, Sammy bets 800, he instaraises to 2000, Sammy shoves, guy tanks and says "i have a gut feeling I should call." and of course does with the old jd2d. Sammy doesn't hit and is crippled, to go out later with 99 vs jj. Oh well, it's up to Jimmie and me for this tourny.
Meanwhile Bryan has been playing big cash games at Bellagio and doing ok. His friend Matt Glantz made a deep run in the 40k event and busted 18th.
