Luxury Pirate Hunting Cruises

"Just when I thought pirates were out of the news I came across this juicy tidbit…

Luxury yachts in Russia are offering pirate hunting cruises in the dangerous waters off the coast of Somalia with the hope of being attacked.

Passengers pay about $5,000 to patrol and can pay an extra $17.50 a day to receive an AK-47 machine gun for protection and about $10 for 100 rounds of ammo.

The yachts travel from Djibouti to Mombasa in Kenya and deliberately cruise close to the coast at a speed of about five nautical miles hoping to attract pirates.

Apparently there are also ex special forces agents on the yachts to lend passengers additional support should the pirates somehow get past the barrage of machine gun bullets.

I know, I know. Pirate-hunting sounds like some kind of joke, or perhaps the plot of a new action movie. But if it is indeed true (the story was reported by ABC which makes it somewhat credible), we need to seriously consider taking Running Man Ben Richards out of retirement and sending him in to turn the tables on our wealthy comrades.

Fiji

So I can barely afford rent in my new place, have 0 furniture (but 20 hats 30 sneakers, and 50 tshirts) but have stocked my fridge full of fiji water. I can't explain it but I must drink Fiji water as much as possible. I have no doubt in my mind that I couldn't actually tell the difference in a blind taste test but nonetheless there is my fridge full of it. I really am thinking about moving on to Panna water, as it is even more Deuchbaggier and comes in a glass bottle.



I am really particular about what I like to drink, so for that matter a few MUST HAVES for everywhere I live.

Cleavland from family guy has a new spinoff show coming out and here is a new trailer for it. Surprisingly I didn't think it was that funny, except for a few lines.

Keeping up to date with this stuff is hard!

Blogging everyday is hard! Anyways Friday night I left Vegas. I got to the airport at like 130 for a 3:10 flight except when I looked at the board I saw it was not leaving till 5:00. And of course I left my ipod in vegas. (Bryan can you send it to me.) So I had nothing to do except read a book at the bar. I proceeded to get very very messy drunk and dont really remember boarding the plane. Luckily the flight was completely empty so I got a whole row to myself. While I was lying down I filled a barf bag and tried to give it to the flight attendant. She was an angry black woman and would have none of that. I was lying down and said the seatbelt sign is on can I go to the bathroom. She of course let me and next thing I remember is passing out with another barf bag in my hand until landing when I woke up. I finally got home at like 2:30am and had no problem passing out.

Until of course 10am came and my new roomates came to my house to begin moving to Hoboken. We have a really really nice duplex pretty close to everything good in Hoboken. I of course hadn't done much packing so was able to bring only the necessities, and yesterday I looked at what I unpacked: Sneakers, Hats, and T-shirts. Found I managed to pack shorts and jeans also, but certainly no underwear, socks, or anything like that. Which is ok since I don't have any furniture to put it away in. The rest of the weekend was more trips back and forth and to different places to move in and that will probably be the rest of my week too.

Damn busted again.

Sorry I didnt update my bust yesterday. We were at 100-200 blinds and I had about 5500, guy to my right had just a little over. I open utg to 525 with black KK. Bryan says I should have bet more here and looking back he's probably right, except for the fact that I had been opening a lot and wanted to keep my range wide. This combined with the fact that the average open at that level had been like 450 at the table I felt at the time to open to 525, and that was what I opened the hand before with. Anyways its folded to the small blind who was just an average awful player who calls, big blind folds. He checks in the dark. Flop comes 2c 4s 6c I bet 1025. This was almost a full pot bet but I really dont mind that as I had been pounding at pots all day. He instashoves and I had to think for a little. Apparently it's a snap call but I tried to get a read and think anyways. The other guy put his hood up and wouldn't move and I really thought he didnt want a call. I was trying to think how he could have AA, 22, 44, or 66 and thought he couldnt have any of them, but would play this the same way with 99 tt, jj, or qq. So I called and he flipped over AcJc. The turn was the 9c and my tournament was done.

Sammy is still alive today with like 50 people left before the money bubble so we're rooting for him. Jimmie is playing the 1500 6 max tournament and Bryan might play the 2500 pot limit holdem/omaha or cash games. I'll probably be playing cash games.
